Deb started her solo career in her Senior year in high school when she sang "Smile though your heart is aching...." Little did Deb know how music would be a healing balm as she coped with the death of her mother two days before her high school graduation. While attending Eastern Nazarene College in Wollaston, MA, Deb found the answer to her broken heart in Jesus. Many opportunities presented themselves for singing in church and her ministry eventually progressed to introducing contemporary worship into the traditional church. Deb has had the privilege of leading worship at South Shore Baptist Church, Coastal Church and now the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene.

In 1998, Deb was diagnosed with vonHippel-Lindau Disease (see vhl.org), the illness that took the life of her mother at 37 years old. As Deb faced brain surgery and kidney cancer, music became a tool used by God to strengthen Deb and her congregation. In 2003 Deb was able to record the songs that helped her through her illness and anxiety. That recording is called Forever In His Care. People have brought the CD to sick relatives and friends, used it as a witnessing tool and it was played in the operating room during Deb's brain and spinal surgeries as a witness to the medical staff.

Deb is listed in Vision New England's Speaker's Directory and she now travels, speaking and singing about God's ever present help for those in need. Her ministry, Walk Out of Worry, is committed to helping people leave behind a life of fear for a journey of contentment.
